Diaspora Housing Shines at the UK-Kenya Trade Mission 2024

Diaspora Housing, represented by Construction Director Mr. Richard Mbugua, stood out among other Kenyan real estate giants during the UK-Kenya Trade Mission 2024. The company showcased its commitment to sustainable development by integrating renewable energy, solar panels, and waste recycling technologies into its projects.

The event, organized by the Business Development Director of Connect Integrated Limited (UK) – who also serves as the Operations Director of Diaspora Housing – attracted over 400 delegates. Many attendees expressed strong interest in investing and partnering in Kenyan real estate projects.

In his address, Ambassador Bishop Warui, the Deputy Head of Mission to the UK, described Kenya as Africa’s "Silicon Valley," underscoring the growing collaboration between the UK and the Kenyan government.

The event also featured Ms. Roseline K. Njogu, CBS, Principal Secretary for the State Department for Diaspora Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs. Other key organizations, such as KNCCI, the British Chamber of Commerce, and KENINVEST, were also present to support and promote investment opportunities in Kenya.
